Student Nationals 2023

Every year teams from across the UK are invited to descend upon the hosting University and compete for the honour to host the following year, all in order to raise money for charity.
Students and non-students alike can sign up to take part in a roleplaying, wargaming, board gaming or card gaming event, spending the weekend days enjoying their chosen activity and the evenings taking part in a scavenger hunts, pub quiz, cosplay competition, or just generally socialising.
At the end of the event our closing ceremony awards points for each category (either from winning in tournaments or decided by GM judges of games) and the University team with the most points gets first refusal for hosting the following year – and bragging rights, of course!
At its heart the Nationals is a charity event. Through fundraising such as raffle prizes, charity re-roll dice, T-shirts and other merchandise, all proceeds for the events are donated to the organisers’ charities of choice.
